About Robert Tyminski

In addition to being an author, I’m an educator and a psychologist with a private practice.

I have written over fifty articles that have been published in various professional journals. You can find them online at Researchgate.net and Academia.edu.

I’ve spent much of my career as a psychologist working with education and public health. I was a volunteer clinical supervisor at UCSF for over 30 years and served as the Executive Director of a nonpublic school and day treatment program that worked with troubled children and their families. Oakes Children’s Center had a diverse, highly qualified, multidisciplinary staff. It was repeatedly recognized for its excellence and the dedication of staff and board members.

I’ve lived in San Francisco for many years and enjoy the vibrancy and creativity of this city. I am an active runner and yoga practitioner. I like photography, reading, and travel. I am fluent in German. I am currently a member of the Haverford Corporation and helping to guide the College.
